As part of its continued expansion Scolmore International, the leading manufacturer and supplier of electrical accessories and lighting products, has acquired an additional 50,000sq ft of warehouse/office space close to its existing facility in Tamworth, Staffs.

The original complex was purpose built six years ago to house Scolmore’s administrative and sales departments along with a large warehouse facility. This was added to in 2006 when the company purchased the adjacent premises, increasing its HQ to 50,000sq ft.

This latest acquisition will provide Scolmore with a total of 100,000 sq ft, with the additional area acting as an extension to the already established warehouse. This will enable the company to increase stock of its core product ranges to cope with customer demand and maintain current service levels.

New offices will also be included in the scheme to deal with the rise in sales and administration.

Scolmore have enjoyed uninterrupted growth since the company was formed 15 years ago and the increased capacity is an essential part of their planning to sustain the growth pattern over coming years.
